Heritage Here aims to bring forward and adapt the content of existing public databases and other sources for viewing on mobile services. The owners have various databases at their disposal, and we wish to coordinate these with regard to open standards. We will rely on existing technologies.

The information will be mapped out geographically and be based on the user’s location. The user will thus be able to adapt the scope, topic and form of the content to his or her needs. A hiker in Dovre, a motorist in Bø or a casual stroller along the Akerselva river can read or listen to stories or study facts on cultural history or the nature surrounding them. The information will be filtered and adapted in terms of topics as well as geography. The user can thus choose and delimit content as desired.
